At any one time Council is involved with any number of community and economic development projects either directly (leading and managing ourselves) or in partnership / supporting a community group with a project of their own.
Although Council has limited resources we will always do what we can to support worthwhile projects run by community groups that will improve well-being and life in Ruapehu. External funding is an important aspect of achieving outcomes for communities.
