2018/2019 Level of Service Survey opens
Council is hoping to obtain constructive feedback from a wide cross-section of Ruapehu communities to its yearly Level of Service (LOS) Survey that has just been released.
Group Manager Customer Services Pauline Welch said that LOS Survey that only takes a couple of minutes to complete was available online via Council's website and Facebook page or hardcopies from any Council office.
The LOS Survey is designed to provide important feedback to Council against how we are going in meeting our goals in key activity areas covering everything from leadership and performance, consultation, working with Maori, the management of Council assets and services, etc., said Ms Welch.
The way the LOS Survey data is gathered is different from most surveys in that it is collected over most of the financial year.
The longer data collection period is to allow Council get a wider response over the relevant time period we are interested in.
It also enables people to have an interaction with a Council service or activity during the survey period and give us feedback at the time.
Although the LOS Survey is now available online and via local Council offices early next year we will also be sending the survey to a random sample of 20% of our ratepayers which helps capture ratepayers who normally live outside of the district."
Ms Welch said Council would like to encourage people to assist us improve our services by taking a quick minute to complete the LOS Survey.
"The data will help us to help Ruapehu communities live better lives, now and into the future.
