GIS Mapping
Ruapehu District Council's geographical information is maintained by the GIS Team using corporate software Mapinfo.
These GIS layers are then made available to the public via our web mapping browser (Online Mapping).
Online Mapping can be used to view various types of information, such as:
- Land Boundaries.
- Aerial Photography (Rural/Urban).
- Utilities e.g. Water Pipes, Sewer Pipes, Manholes.
- Operative District and Proposed District Plan Information.
You can also search by road/street and by address.
