Major water main break

Water main burst on Hakiaha Street

A water main has burst on Hakiaha St outside the BP in Taumarunui at approx 12.15am this morning. Council and our contractor Veolia water have been on site since.

Currently the following locations are without water.

Katarina St

Hospital Hill

Hakiaha St

Miriam's St

River Rd

Restoration target is 11.00am however subject to change

A water tanker is available for drinking water on House Ave on Hospital Hill. Please bring your own container.
