Keeping of Bees

Beehives must be located in a place where bees are unlikely to cause nuisance, or harm to any person or animal.

An authorised Council officer may prescribe conditions relating to the location and number of hives able to be kept on any premises.

No beehives shall be kept on any public place or road reserve without a permit from Council.
